The Grill
The Sidrería Asador Arriaga was inaugurated in 1999 with the intention of bringing the traditional Basque cider house to Bilbao, usually found quite some distance from big towns and cities.
The historical centre of Bilbao was chosen as an ideal location so that the essence of the cider house could fuse with the unique atmosphere of the traditional wine bars in the Old Quarter of Bilbao; an ambience that is brought inside the Cider house, converting lunches and dinners into happy unforgettable moments washed down by barrel cider that the visitor can serve directly from the cask.
With seating for 200 people, the Cider house has a large bright main dining room, ideal for large groups and for smaller ones; the reclusive and charming Arriaga dining room, or the Pitxitxi if you are looking for a quieter reserved ambience.
